we install quality - one yard at a time
Thanks to the advancement in the computer and digital printing fields, laminates are now available in a wide selection of options including realistic wood grains and antique, hand scraped textures. Consumers also have more than one option on foam underlayments for their laminate floors, including our favorite, acoustic foam underlayment. Which gives you, not only protection from moisture above and below, but a more realistic, solid sound to your laminate floor.
Laminate floors now offer a wide variety of simulated wood species and tile looks to compliment any room or decor. Ranging from the traditional 7" wide plank, to as narrow as 4" and 5", the laminate floor is reclaiming it's place in not just kitchen and foyer's but bedrooms and even family rooms.
The laminate floor industry is not what it used to be....
and that's a good thing. No longer is the consumer cornered into 7" wide planking, multiple gluing and installation methods, a-not-so pleasing or realistic overall appearance and numerous installation limitations. The disgruntled buying public coining the phrase "fake wood floor" that rang through the industry and nearly brought about the demise of this otherwise versatile floor application.
Thanks to advancements in product construction, new digital printing methods and the refinement of "drop and lock" technology, laminate floors have regained and have helped bring about alternative flooring products. Such as the LVT (luxury vinyl tile) market and vinyl planking.
